Mark Manson, The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck

About: Pop psychology that, despite its title, is largely about the importance of prioritizing what you care about in life and committing yourself to it.

Verdict: Very readable book with a wealth of smart ideas. Different tidbits will appeal to different readers, but what particularly resonated with me was the author's discussion of changing the metrics by which you measure your success. Also, the idea that happiness is an activity rather than a state: It results from solving meaningful problems related to the things you care about. I think the provocative title is unfortunate, because it has probably turned off as many potential readers as it lured in.
